We took part in the York City Knights Tag Finals Day last Sunday at their ground in York. We played well, beating Longmans Hill but lost against Barlby Bridge and Monk Fryston.We played some good passing rugby, but were beaten by better sides. Well done to all who took part and their parents who supported.

Team: James, Ethan, Greg, Aidan, Reece, Ryan, Matthew and Coby.

Wednesday 17th June 2009

We took part in the York Knights contact rugby tournament. We won 1 game, drew 1 and lost 3. The boys played really well as it was quite rough, but once we got into it we gave as good as we got.

Well done to all the team, especially Nathan, James and Jake who played brilliantly. Many thanks to parents who helped us with transport.

From Monday the 27th April the free Lunchtime rugby training session will restart and will fun as follows:

Castleford Tigers v Bradford Bulls, Sun 29th March, Kick Off 3.30 pm

The pupils who took part in the Tigers Paws Dance Programme will be performing their routine at the home game in front of the crowd! If you wish to watch the pupils discounted tickets are available for the match. Please call into the school Office for a form.

we took a team to the Tag Rugby Festival at York City Knights. In spite of the poor weather the team played well winning 1 match, drawing 2 and losing 2. We did not make the finals however it was a great team effort. Thanks to parents who came to support the team.
