School uniform
Although the Governors have not made a school uniform compulsory, we do like to see our children in our school dress. Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly marked with your child's name / initials - it is amazing how many items get left behind at school.
Uniform
- A navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan. One bearing the school logo can be bought from school.
- A white, pale blue or navy polo shirt, shirt or blouse. Again available from school.
- Black, navy blue or grey skirt or trousers
- Safe flat, sensible shoes.
- A school baseball cap can also be bought from school.
In summer some children may wish to wear light-weight blue or grey shorts, or light summer dresses in blue /white.
A school bag, with our logo, for taking books etc. home, can be bought from school.
A wrist watch and 'studs', or small sleeper earrings may be worn, but for safety reasons we do not allow children to wear rings, necklaces or 'dangling' earrings, or any other type of jewellery.
We also do not accept any responsibility for items lost at school. Please bear this in mind before allowing your child to wear jewellery to school.
Jeans or sportswear are not allowed
Dress for Physical Education
Classes have P.E. at various times during the week, and P.E. kit should be kept in school every day preferably in a suitable small bag. Occassionally, children forget their kit. If this becomes a regular occurrence, parents will be contacted.
Indoor
- Navy blue shorts and white t-shirts.
- Navy blue leotards may be worn.
Outdoors
- Shorts and t-shirt.
- Lace up pumps or training shoes.
- In cold weather a track, or jogging, suit may be worn.
Jewellery of any kind is not allowed to be worn during P.E. lessons. If you child can not remove their earrings they will not be allowed to take part in P.E.
